Update Chrome to the latest version

Rename the profile folder
Close Chrome. Navigate to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\. RenameDefaulttoDefault.old. Reopen Chrome — it creates a fresh profile. - 03
Import bookmarks from the old profile
Open the old profile folder, locate
Bookmarksfile. Use a bookmark import tool or copy bookmarks via sign-in to your Google account.
